The feasibility study is a very important step in the development of a turnkey vision solution. During this study, we verify if your application goal can be met with available imaging technology.
At the end of a successful feasibility study, a proof-of-concept of image formation and image analysis is delivered. Furthermore, detailed system requirements, based on user, functional, performance, safety, regulatory and other specifications, are defined.
Starting from results from the feasibility study, the optimal hardware components, including camera, lens, lighting unit & mechanical components, are selected. Next, all other system components, such as IPC, communication interfaces and data storage units, are chosen to meet your specific application needs.
Depending on the application, an operator friendly GUI can be designed, and the required communication protocols to interact with your process control systems are defined.
